For any Milwaukee higher-ups reading the comments. This was the video that finally convinced me(Lexus flat rate mechanic) to buy the new gen 2 mid torque, even though I already own the gen 1. Great video, straight to the point, and really informative!!!

Always nice to see a new product which is affordable and gets the job done. As I get older I appreciate the easier to read sockets. You wouldn't want to know how much time I spend reading the sides of my sockets to pick up the correct size. Excellent vid!

I like the thinner design, which I think is good for the 3/8 socket. I like the thicker walls for the 1/2, for extra punch. I love the way they have them painted. As always great review 👍

I like ones that don't skip sizes...i had one Maxium (Canadian store brand) set FULL giant 200 some piece cases set. It didn't have a deep 21....nor a 15/16. Very common sizes. I just got them and put them aside and it works good as i know where they are. Hard to organize in a case but they've worked fine

Just bought the 3/8 stubby impact wrench kit with 2 ah and 4 ah battery and the 43 piece kit from home depot. Also got another 4.0 battery for free with it which is nice. I’m a commercial electrician and we use multiple different sizes for sae and met. This set should cover all of it. It will be nice to have the power of the stubby and not have to continue to swap between bits.

Hi Brian, nice socket set from Milwaukee, they need to put out a set of axle sockets, 32m 34mm and 36mm, that would be awesome, excellent quality video ty, Bob,

They certainly pass the looks test. I like that the smaller sizes are turned down near the base similar to higher end competitors.

Tell Milwaukee we need 1 inch drive Torx impact sockets. A 1 inch drive T90 would be awesome.

Thats what i want. I want the rail mounted set. I dont have space for all those large blow molded cases.

Thanks for the information, hope to pick up a couple of sets soon.

The other purpose of the red line at the base of the socket is so that without having to think or examine the barrel of the socket you know which end to attach to the ratchet or impact gun. When I am in a blaze of activity it is a disruption to concentration when I try to attach the wrong end to the gun. Also that little voice comes into my head, 'you dummy, when will you ever learn?!' With the red stripe I will work smarter.

Why didn't anyone think of the deep white lettering and red band sooner? Too bad all impact sockets don't have this feature. Going forward, Milwaukee should use a blue band on their SAE impacts.

IDK, about this. From my experience with Milwaukee hand tools, I’d pass. But if you or Project Farm are willing to put your seal of approval, then maybe.
No doubt Milwaukee for power tools though.
Thank you sir.

i'd prefer the sockets to be color coded, red stripe=SAE, blue stripe=metric. Are they made in Taiwan or the people's Republic of China? there are so many established impact socket brands already, thanks for sharing.
