It's a tribute to your strong marriage that Penn was able to write this skit, since he's so tuned in to what you're experiencing.

Perry is so real, and these are great examples. I don't even need to drink alcohol to be awake all night!

I have never cried as much in my whole life as I have since Perry decided to camp at my house. Also, if someone sees my brain somewhere, send her back. I miss her, a lot. Like when I try to do simple math, or when I forget a word, mid-sentence. Sigh

Thank you so much for doing this video. No one talks about perimenopause or menopause and it's very frustrating to try to figure out what's normal and what's not. I wish more people would address this in any way.

I know it's a little counter intuitive, but this is the only comedy I've seen about women aging and menopause and it's making me cry.
Perry? Who the 🦆 knows.
Thank you, well done! ❤

Thank you for putting a comical spin on what is a frustrating time in a female's life. I am so glad we are able to have discussions about it now and be honest with our experiences.

We are the same age and I completely relate, esp 100% on the gaslighting. I tried to talk about some concerns a couple years back and all my female gyn had to say was "well, welcome to your 40s!"...then on to next appointment. I feel like the tide is starting to turn on being open about this, and your video will certainly accelerate that process. Thank you!!

I will be 70 this year. I reached menopause at 53 (Best year) after suffering 15 years of peri-menopause. Absolute hell. All you ladies have my sympathy.

Penn is the best for writing this and Kim is the best for sharing this, it's not talked about enough. ❤

I'm 62 and went into early onset menopause at 45. I was on HRT (super low dose) for many years, but went off of them last year. My perspiration issues and insomnia came back, and my GYN told me I was actually experiencing menopause for the SECOND TIME! So much fun. Did the herbal supplements but abandoned them as well. I still get overheated each day under the right circumstances, but it goes away quickly. I never got PMS as a young woman, so I didn't have the mood swings during Menopause Part Deux, either. I love not having my cycle, but the widening of my waist and general body shape change sucks. But my body's inability to regulate my temperature is the worst (and most embarrassing) part of my menopause journey. Keep the faith, Kim! You can get through it - with humorous help from your hubby, Penn!

Can't even tell you how ridiculously accurate this is.

Menopause has been the worst health issue I've ever dealt with... and that includes an emergency appendectomy, five kidney stones, and one natural childbirth. I hope your journey isn't as tough.

First let me say this is a fabulous skit on Perry! She brought on a few brutal years of gaining weight (never had a weight issue before) and battling my worse anxiety! Then this last year battling horrible hot flashes, night sweat and the lack of sleep, which I think is the worst!! I decided I was not going to put up with her drama! I completely changed my diet, cutting out sugar, processed foods, hit the gym and started taking over the counter supplements/vitamins. Grateful to say I haven’t seen her around in a while.

Perry moved in up about 6 years ago and I’m 46 I came to the conclusion early that it was just to buckle up this since I can’t evict Perry I just decided to embrace it and don’t hide it made it way easier to deal with
I’m just so surprised women are not more open about it i even got asked from a lady of I was not feeling ashamed to deal with it so openly and when i said no because we will al deal with it at one point and if i don’t make it tabu it might help one female to also feel empowered to just own it

So funny. 😅😅 Can't wait for more Perry episodes. Loved the Rona series too. You and Penn make a great comedy team. 😂😂.

OH MY WORD! The anxiety thing...I very very rarely have I ever struggled with anxiety. Likely because so much has happened to me in my life already and the Lord has seen me through it all... having experienced His deliverance and seeing He is always on time, and trustworthy (1 Thess 5:24 says for He is faithful and absolutely trustworthy...it's so true...even in the pain... So... I connect worry with being 'a waste of time' when the Lord is going to either take me/us out of it or through it or home. Life is SIMPLE that way and that allows for living a 'quiet and peaceable life" the bible talks. BUT...since 'Perry' has shown up on my doorstep I have noticed I have a lump in my throat a lot (not a literal lump, the feeling in my throat that says I need to cry buckets even when I'm not sad...it'll just show up). I will get this all over feeling of dread or like 'is this what happens before a panic attack??, or this crazy worry panic over something that isn't even on the table or is months if not years away! And I'll get really irritated with myself because of this...

OMG!!! ARE YOU In the first seconds of the skit I was calling my husband to come see this. This is me. No night vision, same weight but nothing fits my body anymore, breaking out on my face, impending sense of doom, can't sleep after half a beer, everything!!! I also have horrible pains everywhere in my body when the weather changes quickly (which happens all the time where I live). My mom told me her and her two sisters started having those pains at perimenopause as well. Oh and when my mom started real menopause, she started having hot flushes every 20-30 minutes, nights and day! AND she still has them at 72 years old if she doesn't take hormones. Anyway, thank you so much for this video and all the comments it prompted. I feel less alone!
