The rooftop fight in Spider-Man is good but my favorite is the aprtment fire fight. That jumpscare is cemented in my mind forever but also the flying blades and how Spidey dodges them was so cool to me

Real talk, that scene with Peter vs Green goblin Harry was probably one of my favorite in the series. It does a good job of blending the visceral with the cinematic 👌🏾

SM1 & 2 still have some of the best hand to hand fights. The combat always had that vicious fluidity. Favorite stunt is in SM2 when he gets knocked off the train, bounces off the ground and maneuvers around the cars

This video made me realize the first spiderman movie has some tokusatsu vibes during the fight scenes.

(Which is amusing, since Japanese Spiderman is one of the first of that type)

Spider-Man actually holds back every time he fights someone because he doesn't want to kill them. He can actually one shot pretty much all of his villains if he really wanted to to kill them.

At 4:15 imo that’s the opposite of jank, that’s attention to detail. Easily could have just had him swing into the window but they purposely showed him using the street light to hook the web on and changed direction into the window.
