Wind turbine with NO rotating blades? +50% than solar

This is AeroMINE, a new type of wind turbine for buildings, with no external moving parts. It can generate 50% more energy than a solar panel for the same cost, requiring only 10% of the space.

Requires minimum 12mph wind just to get started, it's a fixed direction, and half the efficiency of even a vertical bladed wind turbine. This is a clever but impractical design.

Sounds improbable . A 5 Kw fan can blow 10m3/min, so you need that sort of flow to get 5Kw of generation. Thats alot of air to be sucked out of the small holes in the aerofoils .

"+50% than solar" which one? Multicrystaline photovoltaic, monocrystaline photovoltaic, thermal solar with mirrors, thermal solar with parabolics... a solar cooker... What?

I could see this being incorporated into a building that has a location where the trade winds blow in one direction most of the time, say Hawaii.

It is safe for animals and I think it would be turn towards wind direction to extend efficiency.

I just confuse the function of blower inside the hollow pipe in the middle of 2 Aerofoil.
The geneator is below of that not in the middle right ??

Well, for where most people live, solar would be the way to go.

I would like to test it at my home. What if the wind switch to the opposite side. At my house the wind could switch up till 4-5 times east to west and back to east and so on.

All practical tests show that small wind turbines hardly generate any electricity -and only at costs very significantly above 1 $/kWh!* There is hardly any wind
near the ground, and it is also very gusty, which extremely reduces the service life of the systems. With
solar systems, you can reliably generate electricity for about 8-12 cents/kWh over a period of 25 years!
