As a fan of Anne Rice and AMC’s Immortal Universe, this was a special day. I was fortunate enough to attend the SAG screening of Interview with the Vampire. Below are a few photos from the event and a couple video clips. In one clip, Sam Reid speaks on how the iconic author described Lestat’s laugh. Another is of Jacob Anderson reminding us of how powerful Lestat is.

I think Lestat laughed hysterically like that because he was so happy to know that Louis loved him and was jealous for him 💘 .. anyway,
They are beautiful together not only in acting but also in reality 💗

Lestat often laughs when he doesn't know what to do or how to feel. Something can be confusing, terrifying or maddening and he'd just burst into maniacal laughter. This was definitely the case in Memnoch the Devil.

Sam Reid in the scene he describes, his laugh seems so spontaneous and almost mocking of Louis and even giddy that Louis is finally demonstrating vulnerability at the same time. Sam Reid is a remarkably gifted actor to be able to convey all these emotions on cue! Awards for this actor and this series had better be forthcoming in 2023!🌟🌟🌟🌟

So good to hear Sam explain this, we know Lestat couldn't help but laugh in Louis' face, just who he is.
But as he says Louis was sort of saying "I love you", I think this moment combined with Paul being the last person he said that to, is why he can say he loves Lestat to everyone except him♥️🧡♥️ Love the eye contact between these two.
Sam's hair is gorgeous. I am obsessed 👻👻😘

I think he laughed because he thought it was hilarious that Louis thought he really loved someone else when all he wanted was louis everyone else was just to pass the time
