How to Calculate Working Days Use NETWORKDAYS Function in Excel.
In this video, I use the NETWORKDAYS function to calculate the working days in Microsoft Excel.
What is the NETWORKDAYS Function in Excel?
The NETWORKDAYS Function calculates the number of workdays between two dates in Excel. When using the function, the number of weekends are automatically excluded. It also allows you to skip specified holidays and only count business days. It is categorized in Excel as a Date/Time Function. I can use this function to calculate working days between two dates in Excel.
Syntax:
=NETWORKDAYS(start_date, end_date, [holidays])
start_date (required): A date that represents the start date.
end_date (required): A date that represents the end date.
holidays (optional): This specifies the list of holidays that should be excluded from the work days calculation.
Formula:
=NETWORKDAYS(A3,B3)
