Path Tracing Vs Ray Tracing

Comparison between path tracing ray tracing in Cyberpunk 2077. Filmed with RTX 4060, 1440p resolution, max graphics and DLSS quality. In a dark scenes, the path tracing difference is more noticeable, but is it worth of the FPS loss?

Path tracing looks good, but it's not worth the FPS hit at this time, IMO. Maybe in a few GPU/CPU generations it won't matter as much but I'd much rather have the higher frames.

Recently I went back to play cyberpunk with my new 4090 build. Even the 4090 chokes playing this game in 4K max settings…. It’s definitely one hell of a visual experience!
