I used 6 motors in 6x6. The speed was insane, but the programming etc to get it to work was a nightmare :-( Each wheel has to be computer controlled as it has it's own motor. I used two Mindstorm bricks with link cable and lithium rechargeable batteries, so it cost a fortune in parts.

Great video. Another idea is to change size on the wheels, that will also change the gearing ratios 👍 Smaller wheels will give similar results.

I think if you used a grippier surface it would be better, I put a door mat over my board when it was slipping!

i've done testing with both sets of gears swapped, it has the grip to climb more than a 45* angle but is too top heavy and falls backwards
