This is the only place an average citizen can get an ear full from an NCO hahah

Arlington cemetery is truly an American treasure. Nothing compares to seeing & experiencing it in person. I visited there a few years back for the first time & was in complete awe of how surreal the experience was. Watching the Changing of the Guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was one of the most emotional experiences I think I’ve ever had.
Every American should visit at least once in their lifetime. I definitely hope to visit again soon.

He deserves a good pay, especially if he came up with that conduct on his own

Came from the UK in 2004. One of the most perfect, and moving experiences of my life.

Went there today. It truly is a beautiful place. Hard to take it all in. Regardless of how the country is going. I felt proud of my country being there. God bless the fallen.

I visited this cemetery in the 8th grade coming from Lowell, MA. Extremely powerful seeing all those white graves as a young man.

My boss while working for State of Calif, was a guard at Tomb also, told me the times, rain, snow or summer hot days, they are guarded 24/7. I respected him always even before he told me of his service to our country.

It’s like the Queen’s Guard except these guards wanted everyone to be quiet

I was lucky enough to go one day and it’s ready to rain and it was when they change the guard and it was one of the most serene, beautiful American things I have ever seen.

I live in Arlington near the cemetery and never visited it before

Seing the soldiers walk in the mass of people, trying to make their way between people, while the royal guard just yells at everyones while walking in a straight line... It's pretty cool to see the difference between those two

Obviously know of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, didn't really know about this part. That means a lot.

I thought the sole of his shoe at the tip got caught as he stepped forward. Man, every single move is deliberate and crisp. Pretty impressive.

When i was there some lady dropped her soda can and the can just slowly rolled all the way to the guards feet for like a full 30 secounds and i can say that the place somehow got even quieter than it was before as we watched that can roll.

Absolutely, or they can change places with the men in the tombs.
