I have an apple iphone facing the same issues. So whats the fix? Plugging in and using a different iphone??? No sense at all!!!

Same here! I looked everywhere on the internet to see if I wasnt the only one, same issue. My google pixel wont connect. I have been using an old iphone 6 specifically for drone flying. I wish I could use my main phone though

My phone is in a case so I need to use a short stubby extention. Tried a new extention and all good now. Never would have thought to check that without your video. Thank you!

everyone struggling, clean your C port on your phone with an air can, that's what finally got me goin.

Do I have to go and buy a new 'phone? No, my problem was just the connector wasn't in correctly. But what a hassle to find out why the bloody thing wasn't working!!! Thanks for going to the trouble of making the video though. Indirectly it got me going again. Much appreciated.

Had same problem...was driving me mad for half an hour. Finally unplugged the USB C from the drone to the phone, flipped it around and plugged it in the other way, and now it works perfectly. Geez. Never had this issue before in two years....now all of a sudden it matters which way I plug in the USB C. Weird.

Having an ESC error code, so drone refuses to take off. what do i do i have tried updating the firmware, i didnt see options for downgrading. please what do i do. i'm going crazy. the drone didnt crash or nothing

Like you, I left the batteries for my Mini 2 in the charger at all times. This isn't a problem if you fly frequently and rotate the battery usage. However, if (like me) you made the mistake of not rotating battery usage, the less frequently used batteries overheated and swelled, rendering them useless. My recommendation, if you're not routinely using all the batteries, pull them partially from the charger from time to time and allow them to discharge.

half the connection issues ive had have been with bad cables OR the phone/tablet case is blocking the connector from going in all the way

Just clean your phone's charging port with toothpick guys. 😂

I crashed my mini 4 pro, it was with rc2 and after crash the view was visible but after few minutes the drone got disconnected, and now after repairing the physical damages the drone is still not getting into pairing mode or it is not getting connected to the remote

If someone have problem with connection check if you have enabled USB Debbuging in programmers options - i was sure i had it on but apparently some android update turned it off.
Enabling this option resolved problem for me - my phone worked fine with apple cable but didnt connect with dji cable included with the drone or any other cable :)

My SE was losing connection out about 600 feet. I immediately started back. It disappeared & lost all connection about 170 feet from home point. Even though RTH was enabled, it never kicked in. It’s lost. I was using cable supplied with the unit.

Thanks I’ve been trying everything and was waiting to try another phone. straight away it worked. How can this be fixed though? I’m not buying a new phone just for my drone. I have a iPhone 14 pro and it always worked before. Can anyone help plz? Must be able to use my phone with it again
