Great video but if you want to know how to sound like you've been there, here are some of the unofficial pronunciations... Seeing as Louisiana was settled by the French that were kicked out of Nova Scotia for not bowing to the British crown, All these names are based on that. First is Nack-O-dish ( know, it looks nothing like the way it's spelled), then Meh-ter-ree. And yes, your first thought of it being Jean (like shawn but with a J)was correct and LaFitte is: Lah-Feet. Thibideaux is pronounced Tib ehh dough (like do-nut. Frenier is Fren-Yay.

I’d say the most haunted states would be older states where the most stuff happened. For example Massachusetts, Rhode Island etc… along with states in the delta like Mississippi, Louisiana, South Alabama and Georgia.
