Lego land is the definition of a “disturbing small town in Britain hiding pure evil”. 1 it has a small town & 2, have you ever stood on a Lego piece barefooted?!! That’s pure evil, ask anyone.
A lot of old pubs in the UK are haunted because dead bodies used to be stored in their cellars before burial as they were usually the only cold place around.

Ladies, please, coming from an English woman, it's not pronounced 'shirer' it's pronounced 'sher' (for example I'm in Cheshire, we say it like chesher). It's one of my pet peeves 😅. We do have so many weirdly named places and alot can be difficult to say

Beachy Head doesn't hide a secret. It has been known as a jumping spot all my life and I am 70

One of those underground rooms of the Hellfire Club is named for its most famous member - Benjamin Franklin!

Stirling is one of my favourite places in the world. I stayed alone there for a week one very windy September, wandering the streets enjoy the architecture all day when the town was basically empty because everyone commutes into Edinburgh for work, and the town is downright mystical. It's definitely the geography, with the river through the middle and the flat lands surrounded by hills and the castle looming over everything, but the place has a charm that can be a little spooky when the wind picks up and seagulls finally stop screaming.

The woman in black waves her arms so much I thought she was about to take off.

I have been to the Hellfire Caves in West Wycombe. It felt like someone was following me out of the caves, even though there was no-one behind me. I took lots of photos but nothing interesting in them. My Grandad stayed at the St Osyth Priory, when he was recuperating, from being medically discharged from the Navy. Also, my brother's ex had a ghostly encounter when driving past The Cage in St Osyth. She said that she looked in the rear view mirror and there was an old lady sitting in the back seat of her car, when she looked again, the woman had gone. She was pregnant at the time and the lady that used to live in The Cage was the local midwife who was arrested and tried for witchcraft. Her name was Ursula Kempe. She was hanged for witchcraft in 1582.

If you’re looking for a creepy English city, you really need to look at Chester, especially within the city walls, which are the most complete Roman walls still standing in Europe. Lots of creepy history, lots of ghosts and lots of incredible old architecture

A messed up place to visit in Gloucestershire. The Ancient Ram inn! I could think of many places in England that has some pretty fucked up history but the Ancient Ram inn, deserves to be in the top 10. It has a really disturbing history.

Humans in the comments can’t believe the bad pronunciation.
Bots in the comments saying they both look amazing and great to see them again 🤦🏾

Just to let you know, Glencoe isn't in Argyllshire, it's in Lochaber, near Ben Nevis and Fort William.👍

I was in Scotland in 2022, and visited Stirling, well mainly the old town jail. I had heard it was haunted, so did the tour they have daily. Part of the tour is being inside the cells, and those are so small, so closed in you feel how isolated it was back then. I even have a picture of I believe was a main room, the old court room. Our tour guide was speaking, I zoned out and took pictures. I have orbs in one or two of those pictures, I know one for sure. I wasn't overly shocked when I saw the picture, a place like a jail, and as old as that one is...Has to have one or more hauntings.

I lived in a flat in Richmond Surrey that had a ghost cat. We used to see it passing the doorway but there was a wall there at that time so it couldn't have gone straight on. One day a friend came down and he saw it too, but was freaked out as he went to find it couldn't.
Another time a different cat came into the room we were in. My hubby went to pick it up, I saw he was expecting his hands to meet on nothingness and was so surprised to find it was a real live cat!

I lived in Eastbourne for 10 years when I was younger. My auntie and a good friend both threw themselves over beachy head. I must have that effect on people.
