I watch horse racing with my family, and I go to the Keenland racetrack almost every year and I’ve never really seen stuff this bad before…

For Everyone: in quite a few countries here at the racing industry tongues are tied because they slide their tongue over the bit and usually they are trained very early on hin 2! Most of the time, you don't have to take them until their 4th pass. A lot of people say this is of course me but horses don't run that many miles per hour in a few minutes. I hope you understand this and don't say: this is so funny hahahaah : (horses are often treated badly and often used with a lot of whipping) I know this because my dad used to work there. Just for people to know. Not all racing is abusive. One, some horses actually enjoy it. And two, not all jockeys abuse there horses. It's the same thing with hunters, show jumping, cross country, dressage, barrel racing, speed barrels, poll bending, and even just regular trail riding. I'm not denying that there's no horse abuse in the racing world or just the equine world in general. But I don't really like how people judge every little thing. People take one look at something and declare it wrong or abusive.

Bro, why is everybody saying its abuse! Horse racing isn't abuse, every discipline is abusive if done wrong. I swear some of these people haven't seen big lick! The whips are foam so they make a sound not necessarily a hard feeling. Please take note, look at the pinned comment too and stop saying it isn't, if you don't like it, SCROLL!
Edit: Also, not all jockeys beat the HECK out of their horses. Horses are wild animals, they love to run! It's FOAL racing that SHOULD be banned!

Today at 11:50am at ellis park we are racing and im excited to say on the fourth we got a monster of a 6 yr old with a record of 15-0 vs a monster a 6 yr old with a record of 15-0 against one another no whips used test of rider vs rider. May the best win.
