How to enable the microphone on Remote Desktop | VPS Tutorial

By default in some platform’s remote desktop applications, local microphone access is disabled. In this case, you need to manually turn on the remote microphone access for the remote desktop.

Using RDC on Win11. I need to use the host's mic & the client's speakers. How to do that?
Doing an RDC session disables the host's mic if "Play on this computer" is selected !!!
It doesn't disable it if you do Local Resources > Remote audio > Settings > Remote audio playback > Play on remote computer.
But that's not the need.
Need is: "Play on this computer" + "Record on/from remote computer". But that second option is MISSING.
I need the host's mic NOT disabled, to allow use of its much better microphone to record to the host.

Searching for a solution has cost me now two days of frustrating fruitless wasteful search.
Help.
