These opening skits are somehow less unhinged than the ads

I love how the "bad" reinactment of these ads is still waaaay better than the actual ads

Can we take a moment to talk about how he can't show the naughty ads that are promoted on the platform itself? Like imagine getting a strike and YouTube team being like "You can't show explicit images in your videos" but the same imagery is promoted on their website at the same time.

Love the acting in the beginning.
The deepest characters I have ever seen.
The storytelling almost made me cry.

I think we can all agree the voice acting in the intro is some of the click's best work

Fun fact : The Gardenscapes ads are now paying influencers to say ''Are you sick of seeing fake ads ?! Ours are really real..!'' and they still show things I know are not at all the main focus of the game xD

That opening skit was so incredibly accurate to those ads in every way especially the voice acting. However I enjoyed watching it so that's where it and the actual ads differ

It seems to me like "When doctor sees it he calls the police" is becoming the new "Professionals hate this one weird trick"

The beginning ad genuinely felt like the real thing, even if it's clearly not.

The fact that parody is JUST as insane as the real thing already says enough

It's just perfect that you can't show ads from youtube on youtube without additional editing

For real, the fact that NSFW ads are allowed on the platform but the SECOND they appear in an actual video, the creator gets demonitized super duper sucks :/ I could hope that gets changed in the future but I would have better odds that Hell would freeze over.

Honestly, amazed by the fact that he has to censor YouTube ads as to not get demonetized so that the same YouTube ads can play.

My husband and I stopped letting our son watch YouTube partially because of these ads. The other reason is because there are too many shows on YouTube that are inappropriate for kids, and are made for adults, but because they are animated, YouTube thinks they are fine for kids.

The sad part is that Replika used to be advertised as a chat that's helpful mental health. It was actually really nice in high school before our school banned it, probably for that shit

I love how the opening skit is so accurate, it’s always the Level 1 noob getting dumped😂

The inappropriate ads are the main reason I pay for YouTube premium and I’m pretty sure they allow these insanely offensive ads just so parents pay for it to keep their kids from seeing horrible stuff. They’re making money from both sides so we know they don’t care!

I clicked in one of those “I saw the ultrasound and called the police” ads out of curiosity, it was about a horse and all it did was taking me to a really long text overly describing some random dude noticing something strange in his horse (dozens of paragraphs on this) and in the last two paragraphs they just said the horse had a chip, it got removed and that’s it (every paragraph had a stock horse image and an ad)

Fun Fact!

The whole “teacher shows a video in class and a -redacted- ad shows up” happened to my class a while back!

What made it somehow better was that I was at a private christian school, and that slipped through 💀

The transition from making fun of mobile ads to showing of Mango was perfect.

As a Brazilian I can confirm this used to happen to me everyday
