It looks like Google focused more on performance than on the cameras this year, if they add a wide angle camera, 4k 60 fps video recording and a bigger battery I think Google will sell many devices :D

The two phones are nearly identical in performance. So close (except the time to boot but that isn't a big deal) that it makes no sense to choose on performance. Go for the phone you like and/or if you prefer Android or IOS. Regardless of what you choose these are flagship phones and you will have a good experience with either one (unless you are a fanboi of one or the other and hate the other side no matter what).

It seems You have not opened some apps on Pixel before the test. Try opening couple times every single app of the test to be fairer. New apps load more information (for exemple PUBG loads instructions and its animations). Apps must create cache first too. Thanks!

Doesn’t look like the Apple’s brightness is all the way up either. I think it’s a personal opinion on the phones. They both look great but in my opinion Apple is just doing a bit more that I personally favor.
