I never understand, Most Reviewers say when unboxing a phone by saying " You get a free case, earbuds, etc. ). It is a $900 device. How is it free?

Although I love the other 2 reviewers, i feel Ricky brings something different. Angie and Will's videos are like reading from script. Same video, same audio and same sequence. Ricky brings the funnier side while reviewing. Keep up the good work Man!!!

No matter what the reviewers say, I ordered it .... 3 reasons:
1) Fastest android updates
2) camera
3) clean software

Well, my own opinion

Truly the most detailed and honest Pixel 4 review without the apparent disappointment in voice like some other reviews. 👍👌 Great job!

Hear I am still rocking the Nexus 6P. Yes, I've changed the battery twice in 4 years but it's still a solid phone.

so they add tons of gimmicky features that drain battery faster, while the battery capacity is just not enough (especialy the pixel 4)

I don't have one but I love the simplicity of the design and no notch or punch hole. Looks classy

Lets be honest here, pixel 4xl crushes 7T in camera, no two way about it.

I'm more than happy with mine. It's an improvement over my HTC 10 in everyway which when new was the best smartphone available. Now so many phones have a compromise. Even though it has compromises my XL looks great, fantastic screen, stunning camera, very loud quality stereo speakers and decent battery

I saw that people were shitting on the battery life and subsequently taking it back because they phones optimized after the first week and the battery life improved. I just received my Pixel 4 XL yesterday and I decided to use it until it died. 16 hours off of the charger (clearly made it through my work day), and it also has 7 hours and 10 minutes of screen on time. I'm really confused because that battery life is incredible. And my battery life hasn't even been optimized after the first week like people said. I don't know how they were using the phones, but I got over 7 hours screen on time. I'm really not concerned about the battery life.

I think the 90 Hz above a certain brightness threshold makes sense because it wouldn't be noticeable anyways due to OLED's PWM at lower brightness. In other words, the 90 Hz would be refreshing the screen while the LEDs are turned off.

I just purchase Pixel 4 XL direct from Google. They had a $200 off promotion, plus I got $79 Google store credit for a future purchase (maybe some ear buds). So my cost for a 128GB version is in the mid $700 range,

I'm coming from an international Galaxy S8, and need a dual sim. Choices for dual sim in the US are very limited. It came down to ordering an international phone to get a dual sim S10 or Oneplus 7T, or going with an eSim from google or iPhone 11 plus. I also gave a lot of thought to the Nokia 7.2.

We give a lot of +'s to phones with wireless chargers given how my two small kids treat the phones when they are plugged in, so the Nokia and Oneplus 7T were downgraded. I did like a lot of the hardware on the Oneplus, but eventually decided that ordering international plus no wireless were too big negatives. For a while I thought the price advantage the OnePlus had on the Pixel would be a factor, but Googles sale eliminated that.

I was unsure about the eSim, but my wife wanted to go the iPhone route for pictures, and her eSim worked well.

My positives so far

1) Price nearly half the cost of the high end iPhone. Still looking for feature that can justify that expense.
2) Fast face unlocking. Love it!
3) Lasts more than a day (Its at 25% when I go to sleep) and will charge in an hour with the 18 watt charger. Who cares if some are faster or last a few hours longer, as I don't see those adding any added value.
4) I've tried the always on 90hz, it does drain the battery faster, but for minimal extra user experience.
5) Pure Android experience. Love it.
6) Dual sim (eSim) works as well as two physical sims.

I would suggest to GSMArena they add a metric for customer service. Something like an average time it takes to speak to caller support. The average taken by calling at some # of different times.

When I set up my eSim at the T-mobile we called Google support and were speaking to someone in less than 30 secs. Very impressive.

I'm still learning the camera, and can't wait to try the night sky photography.

This was the reason why I went with the 7t. Couldn't justify dropping 900 for this one.
