This is the last phone out for 2019 and Google could have hit this one out of the park and blew the other phones away but yet sooo underwhelming, and the looks?? Looks so old and outdated

So basically Google decided that a HUGE Top bezel was the way to go in late 2019 just to be able to unlock your phone using your face? And within that fat bezel, they decided NOT to include their wide angle front camera that the pixel 3xl had? OMG you can raise to wake your phone?! OMG you can use swipe gestures?! LMAO Samsung did this in 2014 and eventually got rid of this gimmick as no one ever used it.

Premium smartphone pricing with less than budget hardware. What a disappointment from Google. You’d expect the last Flagship to come out in 2019 to blow everything else that came before it, out of the water or at least just as good. But nope, Google yet fails again. They need to replace their smartphone division. No one at Google has any taste.

I'm using an iPhone 6s Plus. There is no phone on the market that is worth upgrading from this device. Many of the phones do something better, but none do everything better. It's the last phone I bought with the 2-year contract discount. I upgraded from an iPhone 5 to the 6s plus because I prefer the increased screen size, and my eyes appreciate this. I do a lot of reading on my phone.
The closest so far is the Note 10 +. What held me back: I realized that many of the new and exciting features coming to the Android software have been on iOS for some time.
Leaders in the smartphone industry and market analyzers have acknowledged that people hold onto their smartphones longer. The primary reason is the cost of the new phones, and that the new phones really don't offer much more than the previous generation.
I had the Trio 650, 3gs, 4gs, 5s, and the 6s plus.

the pixel 4xl is actually reasonably priced in Australia. for example: the iPhone 11 Pro is $1800 and the 4 xl is $1200. I'm actually considering getting this phone
