during the 70's and 80's the South Africans also covered the leading edges of expensive helicopter rotor blades with duct tape, thereby extending the life span of these rotor blades. it was easy to replace the tape regularly, and it prevented nicks caused by sand, stones and flying debris.

I once walked 40 miles with duct tape over a blister...it saved my foot from further agony and pain. Until i had to peel it off.

This may be duct tape, but always remember:
If napalm hasn’t fixed your problem yet, it hasn’t been deployed yet.

My father served in vietnam. He used some duct tape to fix the cracks on his m16. And his m16 was the most badass looking gun in his platoon

Brings back memories, I wrapped a rotor blade in summer of 68 near Plekui that had several holes in it.
