Okay, I have chills. It’s not just “oh, they got these dancers in a different program.” It’s “we got them to a safe location, AND found a way for them to do what they love during this really hard time.” 💜

I'm so glad that Yeva has her ballet family to care for her during the war. I hope that her family in Ukraine stays safe and that they can be united again soon. Yeva is a beautiful dancer.

That's what I like so much about ballet is that no matter what company you are in or what country you are from, it's like a giant family that bonds us together and that bond will stay with you forever.

It’s so nice to see kind people like Josephine helping those who have been in horrible situations, like people from Ukraine. Even if it’s something little, helping those in need makes a huge difference to their lives. Thank you Josephine ❤ and bless Ukraine 🇺🇦

It must be such a bittersweet blessing to have the ballet world take care of you away from home when it's unsafe to return. I can empathize with the difficulty of being far from home and loved ones for an indeterminate amount of time because my little family and I live on the opposite side of the country (Canada) from my mother and sister and because of pandemic restrictions we went 2 years without seeing them. I can't imagine the added complicated emotions of war.

It is wonderful that YGP found safe places for dancers from the Ukraine to stay during the war where they can continue their training. 💗 Thank you Josephine for fitting this incredible dancer and sharing Yeva’s story with all of us. 💞

How incredible is it that these dancers were given a way to continue to practice their art. Too long a break at that level of anything can be the end of your career. Also, how beautiful are her feet and legs in position? Just so gorgeous!

Hearing Yeva's story is both inspiring and heartbreaking. She's able to keep her wits about her through her dance, and it's great that the YAGP has helped these young dancers find safety elsewhere in the world during this unprovoked Russian aggression.

To have a dancer verbally say “wow this is so awesome, ” you know the shoe is great for her

I was able to see the United Ukrainian Ballet perform Giselle at the Kennedy Center earlier this year. Incredibly moving and beautiful performance. The cast sang the national anthem at curtain call and the whole audience was in our feet, cheering and sobbing. 🇺🇦❤️🇺🇦

Hey hey hey, dancers !!
Two minutes ago I danced ballett excercises with my 4 wheel.
It was great - another feeling !
Dancers, I am 67, handicapped.
And happy - a new life for a retired man in Germany.
Thanks and bye !!!!
Good luck !

I think I am currently using that pointe shoes too. Other than it occasionally jams my big toe it works perfectly for me. Wish this amazing young dancer the best future ❤
