Pointe Shoe Fitting Tips for First Timers

Just a question, but how do you feel about Gaynor Mindens? I love wearing my Gaynor Minden pointe shoes, but my teacher at one of my studios doesn’t want me to wear them because she thinks that they let you sit in the box and they are cheat shoes. However, when I’m in my GM shoes, I feel that they actually take more strength to roll through because there is already such a good Demi pointe that it takes more strength to get up on pointe. I also don’t feel that I sit in my shoes, I feel very supported and comfortable in my shoes. What should I do?
