This is SUPER useful. I thought we are supposed to just go up, and not do all these turns. This helps a lot.

Great video. I'm still learning when to switch from using free look camera & keyboard WASD to fly the plane to using mouse aim to fly the plane. This looks automatic for you, but as a beginner my attempts climbing spirals result in stalls or diving spirals.

Let's look at the fight starting at 1:05 as an example. You start with keyboard aileron (A) and elevator (W), then switch to mouse at 1:10. Free look at 1:18 in a gentle descent. Use the mouse into a gentle climb at 1:22 then back to free look. Switch to mouse aim at 1:33 for the shot. at 1:52. However, between 1:33 and 1:52 it looks like you're still using the ailerons. At 1:49 you roll left (A) to so that Instructor can pull the nose onto target, then at 1:52, once your nose it pointing at his path, you roll left again to follow him around.

A "very beginner's guide" covering how you use keyboard and mouse in harmony would be appreciated - when I try I end up fighting the instructor over control of the plane. You make the keyboard and mouse work together so well.

I hated aviation but love WT for the ground battles, but this has definitely helped me get confident in dogfighting! Thanks!

Man. Seeing you applying what you talked about in your Energy Fighting video really helps me understand it better. This is top quality training content for Air Combat.

Keep em coming <3
Also it's super fun to snipe from 1.2km when they think they have an energy advantage and they go straight up without doing the spiral climbing.

I love this style of video. You explaining what is going on in practical examples is probably the best way to learn

This video format is really good: super concise, easy to digest, and hammers home one key idea. Good shit!

Can we please get a button cam to see what keys you're pressing, and how are you pressing them?

Every single time I try to energy fight for training in arcade, some random lad comes, falls into energy trap, sprays 'n prays and knocks out my pilot with a stray bullet. Every goddamn time lol.

But anyways great idea and video. There's not much enough examples of the energy fighting. This will help us newbs very much. Thanks!

I came from the mig-15 video, I can see how much you've improved just from this video to your mig-15 videos you just put up, I think its very cool to see a comparison of just about a year

I love these dogfighting videos. Although I'd specifically like to see some stuff where you are at a disadvantage at the start

I elevated my game with the knowledge he gave me and now I'm stuck with much much harder enemies, but i guess the rest is experience. Awesome guide btw.
