Hint to all new players like myself: premium vehicles do not make you a better player! They actually work completely opposite. Progress slowly, but surely. Take your time, learn the maps. The most fun games are at 4.7-5.7 BR in my opinion.

It is so extremely refreshing to watch a somewhat positive take on this game that, even with all its problems, is just so much fun.

On not purchasing high tier premium vehicles, especially planes:

Not only will you not know the basics, but if you aren't upgrading your crews as well, you will be even more outmatched by veterans who have maxed out crews. You will be blacking out in high G turns much quicker than your counterparts, your crew will die with less damage, tanks take longer to repair, etc.

Just grind for a bit and gain some experience with flying, upgrade the crew a little bit, and then think about higher tier premium planes. Otherwise, you will just get frustrated and have wasted money on vehicles that you don't even use because you don't play the game anymore.

General Tip: Do not, under ANY circumstances, no matter how good your armour or gun is, I beg you, do NOT be seen. If you are seen, chances are you are as good as dead. Look at the map for flanking routes, hit the enemy from the side and general beat the light out of them.

I bought the T55am1 two months after starting the game. Loved it from the start, 0 regrets. When I reached br 10.0 I was (and still am) really glad I didn't buy the Turms, there is a huge difference between the playstyle at 8.3 and 9.7
