That boot space is compromised by the batteries and the spare wheel. This high tech improvement touch sensitive buttons are to keep the standard that it's a hybrid. None the less, it's a hybrid. It's important to note that 2.0 petrol and diesel engines remain the "people's favourite/car" in this car segment. As I don't see the 2.0 petrol being made available. I would still choose nightshade blue or persimmon red.

I have the mk2 r line and I agree, the wheels on this model look horrible.

The front console design is not good, I did not like it, I wish the previous design was better. The person sitting in the front passenger seat cannot see in front of him. The tablet design is also not good.

Who is ever working on the wheels needs to go back to design school. These are the ugliest most weak looking wheels on a car I have ever seen. They are by far the plainest part of the car. The wheels can change a car's entire image. Make it look aggressive and bold, or weak and ordinary.

No engine cover? Come on VW, I know you've had some bad luck before, but how hard can it be? All the newer brands can do it, why can't VW? Design a cover that won't catch fire. Its not rocket science.

Ah, they went back to the ratcheting arm rest, good. Note to VW: don't monkey with what works, and what buyers like and expect with VW (e.g. pressing the logo to open the hatch/trunk). Plenty of other items that need improvement. Just listen to your customers.
