Easy Waffle Recipe | How to Make Homemade Waffles

This waffle recipe is so versatile, you can add just about any mix-in from chocolate chips to blueberries and even use the base for savory waffles.

►2 Tbsp granulated sugar
►1/2 cup light olive oil, canola, or vegetable oil
►1 3/4 cups milk (any kind)
►2 tsp vanilla extract
►2 cups all-purpose flour (250 gr)
►4 tsp baking powder

I've been using the recipe that came with the waffle iron my parents received as a wedding present in 1950. The waffle iron still works (and gets ungodly hot), and the recipe is such a snapshot of old-fashioned cooking: milk, melted butter, eggs, flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

When I make waffles, I usually put mill chocolate chips on top when the waffles are still hot, put some cut up strawberry on top of that, and top it with whipped cream.... Heaven

Just made these in a classic Belgian waffle maker and it turned about absolutely delicious! We were only 2 people, so I used just half of this recipe, and it made exactly 3 waffles. I would definitely make this again for sure!

Very nice my grandson love blue berry, chocolate, or salted caramel. I tried savory ones green onions green chilly, parsley, garlic powder cinnamon mix up and enjoy our may add black pepper and poudered parmajan cheese. Yummy

I made them on Sunday and my husband and I loved them... btw I made them with pecans topped with maple syrup and/or with whipped cream and strawberries, simply amazing.

Made them today, was just perfect!! I used one cup of whole wheat flour along with all purpose flour. So I had to increase milk measurements to 2 cups. But the recipe is just perfect
