Here's why you HATE small talk 🤷‍♂️

Love it or hate it... the truth is small talk is the pathway to deeper connection with others.

In most cases people won't go deep with you because they don't trust you. You need to warm up the conversation first with good small talk (and that's through asking better questions) before you can get to the deep stuff!

And if you don't like the questions I ask, that's ok!! You can create your own set :P

b) I used to ask “Would you rather…” questions at work out of boredom and it’s fascinating to hear out the answers, you learn so much about the morality, insight like he says, and even method for thinking. Out of ordinary questions are the best, but definitely have to be courageous to ask 😅

My biggest problem when talking with someone is not caring about whats being said, and the main problem is i dont know how to change it in thr direction I want. But in the last couple weeks trying alot of the techniques you said ive slowly started getting better at it. Thank you kind sir.

Vinh! Yes! This is great brother. If we want to have a deeper connection to the people around us we need to have deeper conversations.

Whenever I am talking to someone I do not have such issues with Smalltalk, as I can just steer the conversation into whatever direction I want. However, it does require that the other person is interested in these same types of things as well to make it nice enough for either parties. Also, if you are somehow trapped in a conversation with multiple people that talk about things I do not care about, then when you change the direction you have to be really smooth socially, in order to do that naturally and not come across like you're forcing the conversation into these things.
