This channel is incredibly informative and incredibly inspiring! I'm only halfway through the video and it's taken an hour because of how often I'll stop and take notes and the research the subjects you mention. I've never wanted to pursue a career in this more than now, thank you!

Did I miss the part where you discuss 3D NAND and more?   I came to see what 3D NAND was and how it compared to MLC.  Looking to buy a cheap  SSD, but wanted to educate myself on it a bit.

Wow this was incredibly informative! Do you think you could make a series like this? Imho it's much better than "Techquickie" because of the slower pace and density of detail.
I'd love to see a cpu, gpu and mobo video some day!

You are pretty much the only one who explains how the ssd stores multiple bits. Thx.

You explain in a good way, please create same animated video on garbage collection on very granularity level.

What happens if a cell gets worn out in an SSD?
Is the data lost or it's moved to a healthy cell ? (assuming the cell becomes read-only, not all dead.)
Do SSDs verify cells after writing?
Are they marked as `bad` by the OS or SSD controller, just like it's done in HDDs (bad sectors)?

This was super interesting, something a lot of us techies take for granted is sooo complex...

Pretty cool! I have a Samsung 1TB SSD and it has 2.7 billion total LBA's written with 12, 500 power on hours and it still rocks the bench marks with 554 Mb/s sequential read and writes. If your ever in the market for an SSD Samsung is amazing.
