Relations and Functions: Definition of a Function

This short video presents a definition of what a function is and is not. In particular, we define a function to be a relation with two additional restrictions. The first being that all elements of the domain must be mapped into a codomain, and second; that no two different elements of the domain can be mapped into the same element of the codomain.

Love your videos! The time you take to spell things out, is really helpful in cementing understanding. My Professor breezes through this (and similar) material, which is not helpful for someone learning these concepts for the first time.
