We often hear the term ‘creating for Bharat’ in the business circuits of India. But what exactly does it actually mean, and how do you understand the pulse of the Real Bharat to create for them?

Rianne Gomes, Brand Manager for Rexona and Dove Deo at HUL, tells us how. An IIM Indore graduate Rianne started her journey with HUL as a summer intern and then traveled extensively to remotest parts of the country as an Area sales manager. While working in the personal care division in Uttar Pradesh, she came across people of varied backgrounds, cultural nuances, and needs which formed the bedrock for her in understanding the business better. She met with people extensively to understand their needs and demands for a product.

Now, a Brand Manager for Rexona and Dove Deo Rianne deals with a completely different set of customer needs and is acquainting herself with the newer challenges. She mentions her learning, challenges, things that moved her, and what are some things that HUL does to empower its consumers and impact the livelihoods of the real Bharat.
