Perfect timing! I'm normally a quiet, shy person. But a young man came screeching out in front of me in his car the other day, causing me to slam on my brakes. I'm ashamed to say "corrupt communication" did fly out of my mouth. When I calmed down, I laughed at how ridiculously angry I got over something so stupid. I don't like it when I act that way in anger. I asked God to help me with this issue. Your video was EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you Brother.

I struggle with anger, especially here lately. Yesterday my cousin and I had a discussion back and forth about mark 16:17-18…. I’m pretty sure you know where this is going. Anyway, after an hour or 2 of me giving her scripture and her ignoring all of it and responding with no scripture and only “feelings” and a whole lot of virtue signaling, I let my temper get the best of me & wasn’t as loving as I should have been.

That was very good. I never thought about the verse that speaks about not letting the sun go down on your anger that way. I always thought of it in context of a husband and wife not going to bed mad at each other. But we should always be conscious of our sin nature. Go to bed with a clean heart. Thank you, Spencer.

I have no problem becoming angry about the right things to motivate me to a righteous purpose, but I do have a problem with becoming angry about the wrong things that motivates me to an unrighteous purpose. I'm aiming for the former, as the latter is one I've fallen for often.

how do i keep my righteous anger from turning into unrighteous anger? i'll see false teaching and the general state of the world and i'll keep returning to the conclusions i made before i was saved, which didn't end in sanctification. i can't get it through my head that i was like them once.

My trigger is when I'm driving. I've told my husband for a few years now that I need a dash cam and a rear window cam. People will literally pull right out in front of me, no exaggeration. Or, they'll tailgate me so hard I can't even see the glow from their lights. And I'm not a pokey driver. Or, my light will turn green but I can't go because of all the people running their red light. For some reason, I seriously struggle with massive anger in those situations. I'm always going to God in shame and asking for forgiveness for my wrath. Thanks for this.

I have fought against my anger for years, i am quick tempered, depressed, I have ruined relationships, friendships i wish i didn't have it, i pray for this to leave me

What makes me angry is when I share a something with someone and ask them not to repeat it but just to pray, and then they go and spread it. So now I don’t tell anybody anything and God knows everything will help me release this anger.

Ecclesiastes 7:9
Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

This is one verse in the Scriptures that is a warning against anger there are only two kinds of anger a righteous anger against sin and temptation and an unrighteous one that harbors bitterness and unforgiveness.

Who created anger? God. Does God get angry? Yes! He gets angry at unjustice, sin, and evil acts!

We should make sure that what we get angry with is worthy of our anger but we must also NOT misuse the anger and direct it towards those who are not deserving of said anger!
