Start by downloading the free Trailforks app from our Connect IQ Store and then unlocking the Trailforks data on your Edge. Featuring trails from more than 80 countries, Trailforks includes the best, most up-to-date information, including trail conditions, heatmaps and more. And when you stop mid-ride, the new Forksight mode automatically displays upcoming forks in the trail, and gives you context by showing where you are within a trail network. During the ride, Edge 830 tracks the epic details with new mountain biking metrics such as jump count, jump distance and hang time. Other mountain biking features include Grit, which rates the difficulty of a ride using GPS, elevation and accelerometer data, and Flow, which measures how smoothly you descend a trail so you have a score to beat next time.

I wonder if the matte finish on the Wahoo Roam is easier to see than the big glossy screen of the Garmin?

I recently purchased a Garmin Edge 830 - first purchase of a Garmin product. My display seems blur, in particular the the large text/characters in the main menu with white background. Annoying, a bit uncomfortable but not dramatic.

I don't know if this is a defect or if I am used to better screen in general (i.e. iPhone).

@wielrenner do you know how to stop it from going from screen to screen automatically, for instance you have your main screen with speed distance etc, then the next screen will show elevation, then it will change to the compass? This happens while riding

Hi, could you tell me if the device Lock socket of this new 830 is the same of the Edge 820 ? the display is really more brilliant than the old one? thx :)
