Very, very lovely. I have followed him since 1972 when i first heard his songs. The greatest solo rock artist of all for me, i feel lucky to have seen all his 4 full world tours.

I personally think that the hair and makeup were super chic and they stand the test of time. Other worldly high fashion. But it worked only because David had a beautiful face.⚡❤️💖

When I hear hm say this many times, I’ve heard him express that but I couldn’t disagree more. He was an amazing singer, amazing song writer for himself and others. Total genius. Great actor. The entire package incredibly top notch all the way around. We love you and miss you but so lucky to have you to listen to and watch. You left us a lot. Always wanted as much as I could get still do. Will always!!! Thanks for sharing your time your talents and for sharing all your things with us our lives were forever better to have had your talents to live with to grow with and to enjoy always for all of us. I’m immensely grateful for everything you contributed.

I don't know much about singing but I love his singing voice. He sounds amazing on "Lady grinning soul" for example.

Oh, thank you for posting that. I really really respect Bowie for his singing in particular...he has such fine-tuned control of his voice. it's GREAT this is from 2003, because that's right around when he released his "Reality" album, which has one of my favorite vocal performances by him: "Bring Me the Disco King." Go check it out --it's fantastic.

Its amazing to see him in just a normal, human, day to day, jumper ... and more than a little incongragent

The amazing thing was how great a businessman he is and how you actually have to be, to work in the music business. I wish he as still here. I was never a big fan, but like all things, we never Appreciate the Great Ones, until their Gone. RIP

As a lifelong fan, i actually agree that Davids singing voice improved drastically over the course of his career. His live vocals in the late 90s and early 2000s were the pinnacle IMO.

Should I even write this comment? I love David Bowie. But these statements… I would say this interview was performance. He may or may not have liked his voice, but the hair and make up …from everything I’ve ever seen or heard- he was well into it.

Bowie makes a good point about his voice. He sounds out-of-sorts on, for example, CHANGES but the “character” is literally “out of-sorts.” CHANGES is a coming-of-age classic. A less than perfect voice is perfect for the song and for many of his songs - say, ASHES TO ASHES.

Can someone write here what he said please?, I mean, because of his accent I didn't understand everything and I want to be sure that what I understood was what he said, and learn the words he said that I couldn't PLEASE
