The parallel with the printing press is the internet in general. The social media age is a bit like the Reformation followed by the English Civil War.

So basically, a guy who thought the invention of the printing press by Gutenberg was a great thing, which completely altered the world, thinks social media is garbage?? Dude is past his expiry date. Please put him out to pasture.
