That was an absolute brilliant video and explanation. It would be interesting to get your opinion of correct protein intake and source for people who are exercising 4+ times a week. It would even be good to know how amounts of protein should differ for different types of activity like heavy weight lifting for strength compared to long distance running for stamina.

I was so scared to watch this video lol. But glad I'm an athlete so it makes me feel a little better. Great video!

I miss the definition of high protein. Without knowing that, I still don't know what I need to know.

so 140 grams of plant protein a day is considered too much?
different people have different needs, but some numbers would make it more clear

Excellent content, very clear to me now, so I will keep working out hard and adding a 48 hrs fast once a month.

But the research found that plant based protein did not cause inflammation or raised IGF1 levels. It is the animal based proteins that have the negatives

Great video, but you might want to also address the higher protein needs of older people.

I like to add a small scoop to my post-workout smoothies. Even with the addition of protein powder my protein intake sits around 15% of my daily intake. But I guess I am training 14 hours a week...
My training schedule doesn't allow me a convenient time to fast for 48 hours. I just never find a convenient time because I'm always on the go (either training or training PT clients). I need fuel to keep me going daily. Even when I juice fasted a few years ago I fainted at work.

Great video that makes a lot of sense! By any chance, do you know how much activity we should have relative to the amount of protein we have? Would weightlifting require more protein, or would cardio?

Love seeing all these opinions. I don’t believe in your research but I will always keep a positive mindset and not be dogmatic

this video was amazingly informational yet simple enough for a layman.

P.S. that girl doing push-ups is gonna mess up her shoulders with that form.

how much is high protein, i get 75-100 without trying

simply because of the amount of legumes and veggies i eat

i understand we absorb less of it because of the vast amount of fiber attached to it
