Y’all told low wage workers “if you don’t like your job then quit, or find a new one” so they did and now everyone is bitching about it. Treat people like humans and pay them a wage they can actually survive off of then we wouldn’t have this problem.

They want you to have lots of experience or education or both and then they want to pay you garbage wages. Here’s an idea, cut CEO/executive/upper management pay. Of course the corporations want to raise prices. Greed never dies.

What a load of crap! The only thing that will change is that executives will make a few less million dollars a year in bonuses. But the stock price goes up so it's a wash. I'm tired of hearing reasons why people shouldn't be paid a living wage.

They say wages are going up but a lot of people can barely afford most things. The earlier people understand that keeping cash is thrash the better for them. 3 surprisingly easy ways to double/hold your funds these days besides cripto, ; real estates, gold, someone give me the third....

Homeless people standing on the street corner make more money asking for donations than what these employers are willing to pay their workers. Stop the greed!

We don't have a labor shortage, we have a WAGE shortage. Employers have been keeping slaves, the slaves no longer want to participate.

Why doesn’t anyone complain about companies reporting record profits during the “good times” and not saving anything for a rainy day?

Why does no one complain about businesses taking handouts? Zero interest pandemic loans.

People pay taxes… businesses pay taxes the difference is businesses have tax loopholes that people don’t. For all those saying businesses create jobs…

ya how did that work out when there were no customers during the pandemic? One way or another if people don’t spend money because they don’t have money or because they can’t due to a pandemic businesses suffer.

I love economists, blaming Greedy employees for wanting a living wage, for an inflation surge that started long before any significant wage changes.

It’s not the fact that no one wants to work, it’s a fact no one wants to work for the shitty wages anymore. After a year and a half of very generous unemployment benefits people want more of that. Either match that or raise it more.

That's strange. I look for work every day. I have an amazing work history. Yet, still unemployed

A few weeks ago, I saw a video where they said that if the minimum wage was $15 an hour, companies would only need to raise their prices by 4-6 cents to make up the difference. Plus, when consumers make more money, they spend more money.

Answer: we had an economy built on people that had to have 3 jobs, none of them giving full time hours or benefits & no one is rushing to go back to that

What if Owners, CEOs, CFOs and all other "C" level and Director level take less to absorb the cost of higher wages for all? 🤔🤔🤔 Bottom up get paid top down take a little less. All will survive just fine.

Restaurants have treated people awful for years and now it's came back to bite them.

"Hey, nobody wants to work this shit job I'm offering at a shitty minimum wage you can't live on."
No shit, Sherlock.

If you pay people $15 per hour people are willing to work for a living wage.

Restaurants want to go back to the good ol days of paying you 7 or less while a steak and shrimp dinner cost 25 or better on the menu.

The minimum wage is 1/3 of what it should be. That might have something to do with it.
