If you watch the actual footage, you can literally hear the reporter in one of the choppers screaming as the helicopter falls to the ground before they cut audio and go back to the anchor at the station.

Second she started talking about them doing too many things at once, I knew there was going to be a helicopter crash. But I didn’t expect it to be both choppers hitting each other.

I remember watching a high speed chase and the dude drove off the side of the road jnto a field and jumped out with a gun. The anchor kept saying "i dont like this.."
Then he ran over onto a path then as the police came running up the news camera was zoomed in SUPER close and he cocked the gun.
The anchor was like "cut it cut it cut it!" but he shot himself in the head.. then the helicopter zoomed out super fast but we saw it. It was on Fox.
Anyone else remember that?

There were 6 helicopters in the air that day with one being the police and five news. After this incident Phoenix went to 1 helicopter for all the news channels. That way there was less in the air and the pilot could focus on flying and camerman focus on the camera. Now the reporters report from the studio.
