'Someone’s dead!': Video Shows People Begging For Astroworld To Stop Concert

At least eight attendees of this year’s Astroworld music festival died after multiple people fell and were trampled during headliner Travis Scott’s performance. The concert continued, despite multiple people being taken away by security for medical attention. Many crowd members called for the show to end and for security and Scott to help people. It’s not confirmed if Scott was able to hear them, but he did pause his performance a few times to have people in need of medical attention removed from the crowd. Scott ultimately continued the show.

The concert was declared a “mass casualty event” by city officials almost 40 minutes after it had began.

The festival was one of the deadliest live music events in U.S. history. In 2011, seven people died at the Indiana State Fair after the stage collapsed. In 1979, 11 people died after a crowd stampeded through venue doors at a concert in Cincinnati for The Who.

It’s haunting seeing those people begging for the show to stop because people were dead.

Seeing that girl screaming that there’s someone dead… it’s heartbreaking.

If you attended the Astroworld concert and you receive a message for the refund or the betterhelp counselling kindly do not accept it. It will waive your right to sue since it will be considered as a settlement. Just go ahead and sue in a court of law and hurt him where his pockets lie. Kindly share with as many people as you can.

How brave of such a young girl and guy trying so hard to get attention to help others. Gives back some of the faith in humanity lost with people like the Kardashians being idolised.

just seeing the staff shoo-ing away the people literally asking for help was beyond the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. Imagine someone begging you to stop the show but you still refused to because you weren't told to do so

This is beyond insane. The apathy is sickening. People were killed and yet they still refused to stop the show.

Avoid large crowds, people. Something bad is bound to happen.

The fact that people were dying and Travis Scoot even said to "flip the ambulance" when it was carrying dead people

Travis Scott has encouraged his fans to rage. He is known for this. I am glad fans are suing the pants off of him. He needs to be held accountable.

The fact that the camera man is still trying to continue his recording and weaving the kids off the camera platform after hearing someone is dead in the crowd is absolutely haunting.

oh my goodness got goosebumps watching these kids trying to get the show stopped, if only they had listened to them soon maybe fewer would have died or been hurt, my prayers for healing for the victims and family

Huge respect to the guy and girl (and others who weren't filmed) for stepping on the STAGE to get Travis attention for everyone, the cameraman was heartless. He could have spoken into his walkie talkie but chose to ignore them. Idiot.
