From $10K to $110K that's the minimum
range of profit return every week I think it's not
a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay
bills and take care of my family.

Honestly, I'm sick of being the social experiment. The system is broken all the way to the top.

I’ve been arguing this for years. We’ve always grown the “community” way and it has benefited us MASSIVELY. My tips to anyone is to do what you love. Don’t focus on VIRAL ….Viral videos can be the death of a channel (not always but very often)

YouTube doesn’t always recommend latest videos of a channel you watch, especially lately. I’m being recommended lots of videos that are 5-12 years old, even from channels that have much newer content

What i've noticed is that, most of my subs came from making videos about one particular video game. That game was new and had excitement around it for many months, now that the game's popularity has gone down, and not as many people are watching content on that game, I'm getting like 90% less views. So even my subs aren't interested in that game so they are not interested in any content related to that game.

The fact that I have way more returning viewers than subscribers gives me an assurance people enjoy my content

When you have less than a hundred or so subs it is really tough, even the bots won't watch! And if a subscriber dosn't watch one of your new videos, YT will stop recommending your content to them.

In my case, i think the first 4 hours are crucial for the performance, and who's seeing on those early hours are subscribers. If they don't click or watch it full, the video won't get on the algorithm as hard. It's my POV in the last few months.

I have a weird channel. I have 169, 000 subscribers. I mainly upload shorts videos and my long form content usually bombs. I am creeping up on 100 million total views so I can't cry too much.

I completely agree with this. As far as I can remember, I’ve never unsubscribed from a channel unless I found something disrespectful about it. Yet, the algorithm often stops recommending content from channels I’m still subscribed to.

There is an intangible benefit of a large number of subscribers conveying some level of authority to the channel. People see channels with no subscribers and dismiss them, and channels with thousands or millions of subscribers and they're more likely to watch. And raw subscriber count has some small benefits with getting sponsorships I suspect for people interested in those.

My biggest struggle is that out of the gate the first 2 days videos start slow then blow up. I dont know how to get a fast start anymore. 2023 most videos started fast then slowed down. Yet even though I have done 3x more videos this year. I get more comments of "I didnt know you uploaded". Honestly a bit lost in trying to get my already existing sub base's home page.

I occasionally pop back in every once in a while to see what’s new. But, no longer worry too much about the growth content. But, I listen to the Boost podcast as often as possible on the road.

The key is to build a community, not just subscribers. A community that has genuine interest in your content will drive engagement, in turn getting videos recommended and favoured.
