The ES is truly a great car - your review of one last year inspired me to buy a 2021 Ultra Luxury (believe the word is “bougie”…) and I love it! Great review this time, too. Lexus is saying they also redesigned the brake pedal (!) on the ES for 2022 - a bit of weird trivia - congrats on 258k subscribers! Cheers!

I’ve recently been contemplating trading my c63s for this. Now I’ve test drove this car and it’s an absolute delight quality wise, but I’ve also focused more on really pushing my current car and I’ve come to the realization that the handling and V8 are hard to part with.

I love this new model, kinda reminds me of my 2020 Altima SR look. Thinking of trading in my Nissan for this Lexus. Thankfully I've had taken real good care of my Altima and only has 8k miles on it. Bought in 2019 with 6 miles and now thinking of trading it in for a Jeep or this Lexus 🤔

In the F sport version, do the steering wheel and the seat move upwards when the engine is started?

This ES will never replace the GS for one reason. REAR WHEEL DRIVE. The driving dynamic is way more pleasurable with the GS. The ES is just another appliance

So how are F Sport seats compared to the normal seats as far as comfort goes? I sat in a RX350 F Sport and the seats were not as comfortable as the standard RX350 so that is a concern for me.

Excellent review, covering all the specs and performance together with the differences of the models offered, this is a severley overlooked car, but reviews like this will hopefully address this. In the UK secondhand, this model seems to be selling at a huge premium to the IS300H, not sure why, perhaps someone more knowledgeable may enlighten us?
