I don’t know what type of Laptop I have. It’s non-touch screen & a Lenovo. Pretty good sized. Anyways, my screen started getting all these vertical lines going through it & you can’t do anything when it happens. I just figured out how to reset the thing with that little hole on the side. Now, if you need the options to pop up, hold left shift button & the reset button(little hole). Hold them long enough until you hear your laptop beeping then let go.

Did you open the tablet with it powered up already? Or open/pin reset and hold until it comes on. Or was your tablet already on when you pushed the reset button?

Yo my guy thanks a mil i thought I needed a new battery or something I don’t even got the same Lenovo but I still tried that reset but now it’s back up and running no more black 😊

This does work, but be advised that the laptop has to be turned off, then insert your paperclip or SIM tray tool, hold for a few seconds, note if your laptop keyboard power button has a small light, it will come on, then the short drop-down menu appears. Thanks

Does anyone know if this will be the same setup for a Lenovo V14 laptop with windows 10/ windows 11 setup? Also if setup the laptop with a new create account on the blue page for Microsoft account can you change that later after finish setup with new account by going back later somehow to put in/ install new Microsoft account in the laptop without possibly resetting the whole laptop such as a factory reset etc.? As I am completely new and using my Lenovo V14 laptop for 1st time originally had a Toshiba L850 pro with windows 7/ Windows 8.1 in the past.
