In this video I review my newest and favourite timepiece acquisition, my Cartier Tank Française!

The good news is that the Tank Française is still available at Cartier and yes, even in the small size. Mine was however purchased pre-owned. Since we are on the topic of pre-owned here is my favourite place to shop pre-owned and vintage watches:

It is a full stainless steel watch with quartz movement, which simply means that it is battery powered.

I love this watch because it is kind of edgy and rugged but can be fancy and elegant at the same time. The bracelet is my favourite part especially the combination of brushed metal against smooth metal.

Fun fact: Lady Diana was a fan of the Tank Française and was photographed on numerous occasions wearing the solid gold version.

Beautiful watch. I've been on a fence with buying a smaller watch that is similar size to this Cartier, due to the fact that I ride bikes outdoors a lot, but I've been dying to give vintage size watches a try (my wrist is around 6.3 inches).

How do you wind this watch ? I manage to set time and it started moving with time, but the next day the clocked stopped again?

Having tried them all on I simply cannot and would not buy this watch without diamonds, it looks so much better with the diamonds and even the women who get the watch without the diamonds tend to stack it with a tennis bracelet so I’d say whoever wants it, just get the one with diamonds right away. ❤
