Back when I was in college my Biology class took a trip to a science museum. I bought two Venus fly traps at one of the stores and named them Venus and Serena. Everyone was laughing so hard. 😂😂 I miss those plants.

I had one of those plants. It grew many pods and more plants very well for a few months. Then it started to die, and nothing I did would stop it. I was really disappointed and wondered what I did wrong.

If you're curious the enzymes definitely dissolved and digested the eyes 1st as they are already soft tissue then slowly through the eye canals it leaked more enzymes into the body of the crab and it circulated until the limbs detached and openings were made where the meat no longer held the exoskeleton together and the juices leaked back out and were absorbed by the plant. Imagine being eaten alive through acid dissolving your innards starting from your eyes 😂
