To effectively exterminate odorous house ants, a multifaceted approach is essential. Begin by identifying and sealing entry points to prevent further infestation. Maintain a clean environment, eliminating food sources that attract ants. Baits containing boric acid or borax are highly effective; these substances disrupt the ants' digestive systems and are carried back to the colony, eventually exterminating it. Sprays with insecticides designed for ant control can be applied to kill visible ants and deter others. Additionally, a natural solution involving a mixture of water and vinegar can be used to clean ant trails and disrupt their chemical communication. Consistent monitoring and repeating these measures as needed are crucial for long-term success in eradicating odorous house ant colonies. I recently got the Milwaukee 2 gallon M12 sprayer. Game changer. It does a fan spray but you can also set it to shoot 17 feet away. Makes it very easy to get to high up places like roof eaves. Makes very quick work of spraying. Anyway maybe your ants are being fed from the downstairs neighbor?

I’m In Ga, our ant season starts in April. We use Taurus Once a year during that quarter. That’s the law here. They drive me crazy tho
