WHEN TO WATER SUCCULENTS?!

To water or not to water, that is the question 🤷🏻‍♀️. Especially when it comes to succulents! The way I water my succulents has been really beneficial for me and for them, so I thought I’d share with you 😉🌵:

👉always check the soil! We want to make sure that the soil dries out completely in between waterings. You can check with your finger, or if you have a #opuntia like this one, you can also use a toothpick and see that it comes out dry. If it does, it’s time to water 💧💧

👉 when I water my succulents, I make sure that the whole potting mix is moist after watering. We don’t want the soil to be wet, so make sure you have a potting mix with good drainage (dm for my recipe📩) and use a pot with drainage holes! I also find terracotta pots are really helpful with succulents, as they help the soil to stay moist but not wet.

Just keep track of the weather where’s it’s from and water it when rains there. Just make sure to drown it when you do water it.
