I'm sooo glad I found your channel!! This is so perfect for me. I have a "black thumb" sadly but I love plants so I want to change my ways and learn how to become a nurturing plant mom! I got some succulents today in addition to other stuff so this is really helpful! Looking forward to watching more of your videos and learning!

This is one of the first videos I watched before getting my first succulent (I didn't want to make any mistake that could have been avoided by quick research) and now, nearly twenty days after getting it, I'm watching this video again (I remembered something about the watering technique and I wanted to do it this way as well). It was a huge help back then, especially because it helped me be comfortable with the watering frequency. Now my plant is looking pretty good so I think I'm not overwatering it. I read that when the tips of haworthia leaves start turning orange/brown it can be because of underwatering, so I usually start watering mine when it happens (at least 7 days after the last watering). I hope this is the right way.

One thing I hadn't paid attention to three weeks ago was that you mention that the size of the pot matters. I'm glad I rewatched this video because I was getting a little confused: some sources say you should water every week, some say every two weeks, and another one said "one big soak every month is ideal". Now I realize that the one saying you should water every month had a bigger pot, so it makes sense. Mine is in a very small pot, and since I'm planning on moving mine to a larger pot some time soon, I'll have to take this into account and not keep the same watering frequency, otherwise it might suffer :(

One little succulent's life was extended and hopefully it will live very long, thanks to this video. Thank you!

That is exactly the video I needed. Can't seem to maintain my succulents, however hard I try. Thankyou so much!

Your calm voice, great descriptions of each plant, and your highly valued options I’ve watched many other channels and some give me anxiety because they talk too much about themselves and less about the topic.

But you’ve helped me so much get over my frustration thinking i killed my succulents but really I was just not educated right .

I’m a fan 💜💜💜

Thought Of starting with the succulents as it is definitely easier than flowers to take care of. But my healthy n beautiful succulent died after 4 days. I over watered it and kept in a sun for too long. I am feeling so bad for myself. But now I got u .. I hope it will help me. thank u✨

Thank you so much for the information, I used to give water to my succulents when I see that it's upper layer get dry and also didn't know that it require direct sunlight.

Thanks for these great videos, I have been pondering over why my aloe plant looks so discoloured, but now i realised that it is because I water it everyday with the rest of my garden. Please keep the great content up, especially kitchen used plants. - South Africa.
