International Plumbing Code Chapter 9 is all about sanitary drainage systems. This video presentation covers IPC sections 918 to 920. This video presentation contains explanations about the use of air admittance valves or auto vents, also know as "stupor vents". These sections of the code define how and when air admittance valves may be used, and how engineered and computerized vent designs can be applied.

This video is based on the 2021 International Plumbing Code, so chapter 9 might look a little different than previous or later versions of the code. Generally, the code requirements do not change much from one edition to the next.
