Also in the works are:
- UPC practice tests & video courses
-DWV venting course

International Plumbing Code Chapter 9 is all about sanitary drainage systems. This video presentation covers IPC sections 907 to 912. This video presentation contains explanations about venting for stack offsets, crown venting, individual venting, common venting and wet venting methods.

This video is based on the 2021 International Plumbing Code, so chapter 9 might look a little different than previous or later versions of the code. Generally, the code requirements do not change much from one edition to the next.

Why is it a violation at 16:13 but not in the example at 15:33 where it’s a single bathtub entering upstream of the wet vent?

Is it because there’s two separate fixtures or just solely that the WC needs to be downstream of the wet vent?

Why does UPC require water closet to be most downstream connection to a horizontal wet vent (and shown such in the video examples) but IPC does not indicate this requirement?

"909.1 Distance Of Trap From Vent" is that applicable to wet vents or is that for dry venting only???

Where did you find the exception for toilets, regarding distance from trap to vented line? Is that how you read 909.2?
