I've mention that I tend to spend too much time making things just right which causes me to work slower, but with experience, I learn to work quicker with just as good results.

Going slower / having high quality of work keeps you from making mistakes and not having to do things twice, which either ends up being faster in the long run or evens out.

Do you have any thoughts on swapping the order of “not the fastest worker” and “caring about quality” ? My thought process on this is that starting off with the bad news might feel like a more natural / honest response to the question focusing on negativity, while allowing you to start pivoting to positivity sooner.
