What is the difference between probation and parole?
Показать описание
In this video, learn the difference between probate and parole.
Summary:
Probation is a privilege granted to a person before he or she is sent to jail. A person on probation gets the opportunity to show that they want to mend their ways. If the defendants prove themselves rehabilitated, they could avoid jail time altogether. Parole, on the other hand, is granted to a person after spending some time in jail. The person is released from prison before finishing their sentence. One of the reasons a defendant can get parole is good behavior.
