I think the one thing missing from all bike review channels is a deep dive into quality control and customer service. How many people are plunking down $1500 and having it break with little to no support within a year. The first channel to do this will change the industry as buyers will no longer have to hope for the best.

Everything I know about Ebikes comes from watching your videos and reading short internet articles.
I am a 6’ tall 67-year-old man and have been looking to purchase my first ebike.
I am interested in a fat tire ebike for a comfortable ride on both paved rural streets and our local dirt roads & trails and I am intent on purchasing a bike from a local bike shop.
I have found one shop that carries the Denago Fat Tire, and another that carries the Aventon Aventure 2,
The bikes are priced exactly the same.
The Denago advertises a greater range per charge with a 20 Ah battery (vs 15Ah for the Aventure.)
The Aventon Aventure does come with an extra battery.
I have watched your videos on both bikes and would appreciate your overall opinion as to why you chose the Aventure as well as any feature comparisons that you would consider notable.
Thank you for all the work you put into helping educate people about ebikes.

I just need a bike to commute 4 miles to work. After much consideration I can't see myself spending $2, 000 to $4, 000 dollars on an e- bike so I decided on a beautiful used GIANT mountain bike

$250 bucks and I get to do some real exercise while getting to work in about 20 minutes (takes me an hour and a half walking, so I'm way ahead)

And it's actually fun to ride, not that hard to pedal, and I can ride on the sidewalk

I would like if you do more tricycles for seniors. I am 82 and if I have to give up car I would like tricycle. Thank you for the video.

1500+ miles on my Ariel Rider Grizzly and it still puts a smile on my face. You are correct, it is a beast and not as nimble as other models. All you have to do is flick the switch to dual motors, twist the throttle and nimble becomes a non-issue.

I went into a bike shop to enquire about the Aventon Adventure 2. The owner (in business since '77) wasn't thrilled with Aventon in general. He didn't like that support is hard to receive from the company. One of his techs was nearby and was nodding in agreement. She told us they had a bike in their shop and that Aventon wasn't responding to their calls for weeks. When they finally got through to Aventon the excuse for the lack of support was, "that ticket fell through the cracks - sorry." But the owner said that it wasn't a one-off event that it was now the norm.

He talked me into a different bike that had very similar specs to the AA2. It did cost me $200 more but the owner said that his experience with this other company (Troxus) was positive. I ordered the bike (Lynx Plus) and it'll come with the option of interchanging between torque and cadence sensing. That'll be cool :) ETA - the pick I opted for also has a longer warranty.

I love the professionalism in your videos you make things less of a headache when looking for an ebike looking through category easy straight to the point and Availability never have i seen a video that checks all my boxs high praise all around! Though I imagine there in separate videos but I'd like to see full reworld test like this say 60 mile range but after the test show realistic experience and expectations after use

I'm 5'4" and wanting to commute to work 4 miles (mostly flat) and I want a bike that can take me there using mostly throttle

My current regular small mountain bike takes me 45 minutes to get there and I'm exhausted by the time I arrive

Which quality e-bike (s) would you recommend?

And how much quicker would I get to work?

Great job!!!!
You have confirmed my choice to get my kid the Lectric Lite.
I’d like to see an à la cart / build your own menu.

I've owned electric stand-up scooters and only dual motor. I want a more enjoyable experience and am interested in purchasing my first ebike. I'd like an ebike that's comfortable, easy to work on, find parts for, and has a long range. I'm not so sure about a single motor ebike, however. I was looking at the Ariel X52 step through or their Grizzly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A great review of the many different ebikes available. Thanks for the time, energy and expense. I gravitated to Lectric after my third knee replacement as I was challenged peddling my Trek bike. Their step-thru fit the bill for me as I wasn't sure what I could ride after those darn knees went south and I couldn't risk spending $2, 000 if it didn't work out for me. My spouse and I were impressed by Lectric's rapid rise in the ebike market, their customer service and we have enjoyed them for the last 4 biking seasons. However, it was inevitable that competition would produce an alternative and now there is the Portola. We want to upgrade, get ebikes that are lighter with long range batteries, and now we have the difficult choice of two fold up bikes well within our price range. Something is on the horizon with Lectric so we'll wait and see what that is on the 12th of March. Perhaps they saw the writing on the wall and reacted to it. But you nailed it when you stated some companies will drop out - it will be interesting to see which ones will be challenged to their detriment.

Just purchased and really enjoying the Velotric Summit 1. Class 3 with high end speed mountain/hybrid design. Nice to buy from a retail dealer when you need support, too.

I have a lectric xpedition dual battery cargo bike. I heartily agree with that choice. 450 lbs. max payload, 150 mile max range and power if you want it.

Great video guys, enjoyed very much. I'm 72 and getting a little crippled up, bad knee and so on! I mountain biked right up till last year
and enjoy very much. Need a little help, so I'm looking at e-bikes. Checked out local bike shops, they want my first born for one. Trying
to figure out what I would like. Thanks for the video. I'll check out some of those brands, that you mentioned.
